Kids Art Storage Folder

As many Moms know, when you have children you seem to accumulate tons of their art projects.
My fridge has been completely full of them!
I wanted a storage solution, but I didn't want to put them away because they love to look at their art.  So, I decided to make them art folders that they can look at, add to and take with them to show off.
I just bought some 1 inch folders and some sheet protectors.
I had my kids paint the front of the folder with their hands and the back with their feet (they loved that).  Then I printed their names out put it in the side.
Then I just made sure to date each picture/project, and then put it in the sheet protector.
They adore their new folders and now where so excited to show Dad all of the artwork when he got home.  It is also nice that my fridge is clean!

I've been looking into how I might store all of the artwork from my kids. I LOVE binders! This is right up my alley!

This is a good idea! So far I've been saving my daughter's project in a file cabinet, but this makes it easier to show her creations off. Stopping by from Serenity Saturday, having a link-up at my blog too if you'd like to join: http://jessica-healthymommyhealthybaby.blogspot.com/2012/09/sweet-saturday-20-raw-chocolate-banana.html. Have a nice day!

This is such a good idea! I am guilty of throwing a lot of art projects away and this is great way to keep them organized and out of the way.

So cute! This is what I do with my kids too. They're 11,9 and 6 and they still like to look through them!

What an awesome idea! I have all my kids stuff in a plastic tub in the closet. My daughter just graduated from High School and my son is in 10th grade. What a treat it'll be to put all the artwork in a binder and go through it again :) Thanks so much for linking up to Creative Thursday. Can’t wait to see what you share this week! Have a wonderful week.
