Peanut Butter Rice Krispies

This is one of our favorite treats!  But I'm a little partial to peanut butter and chocolate.  Yummy!  My mouth is watering as I type.  Every time I make these, they are gone as fast as I can cut them.

So go ahead an make them, you won't be disappointed.  :)

Peanut Butter Rice Krispies

1 cup Karo Syrup
1 cup Peanut Butter
1 cup sugar
About 6 cups Rice Krispies
(Give or take, it's up to you.  I personally like them a little gooey.)
2 cups of chocolate chips ( any combination: milk, semi-sweet, butterscotch, etc.)

Lightly spray a 9x13 inch pan.  Add the Karo syrup, peanut butter and sugar.  Bring to a boil and let it boil for about 1 minute.  Take away from the heat and add the rice krispies.  Transfer to the pan.  Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or a double boiler and spread over the rice krispie treats.  Let sit until chocolate hardens.  Cut and enjoy!

My New Project-Sewing Hutch

As Briana said in her last post, we bought a house at the end of October and have been completely remodeling it.  Don't worry, I will post pictures...
It has definitely been an adventure, to say the least!

Right now, I am currently trying to get my sewing room completed.  I have never had an actual "sewing room" so it has been super fun buying furniture for it.
My most recent project is this hutch....

I found it on Craigslist for $75 and it is one heavy and Sturdy piece of furniture!  I am planning on stripping it and giving it a new white finish!

Here are some pictures of the hutch taken apart...

Giveaway: Easy Canvas Prints

I love pictures!  I love taking them. I love editing them. And I love putting them up in my house.

I usually order my prints online, but I now have a different method to showcase my photos!

Easy Canvas Prints has been such a pleasure to work with.  The hardest part about the whole process was trying to decide what picture I should put on canvas.  I recently just had all new prints done for each of my children, so I decided to go a different route.

I found a beautiful picture of the Gilbert Arizona Temple.  Jerry Ferguson is the photographer and has allowed the public to download any of his photos on the website to be used for personal use.  They are all absolutely stunning!

So I picked out a picture and ordered it to be put on canvas.  Let me tell you just how easy this was!  I don't have a lot of extra time, and I was hoping it would be fast and painless.  And it was!  I had the picture downloaded and ordered in just a matter of minutes!  It was pretty painless and I left my computer happy!

The canvas arrived very quickly, in just a matter of days.  And let me tell you how beautiful it is!  The quality is amazing!  The colors are gorgeous!  I am in love!

I will definitely be ordering again!

Easy Canvas Prints has so graciously offered to give an 8x10 canvas away to one of our readers!  Yea! I love giveaways!  So be sure to enter below!
