Easy Trampoline PVC Sprinkler

My kids LOVE to jump on our trampoline with the sprinklers on during the summer. But I get tired of setting the sprinkler in the center of the tramp then having to move it to water other parts of the lawn, then resetting it. So we came up with a great plan. This is our original idea and haven't seen it anywhere else.

This is so simple to make all you need is:
2- 10ft sticks of 3/4" PVC Pipe
1- 3/4" PVC End Cap
1- 3/4" PVC Coupling
1- PVC Hose Connector
PVC All Purpose Glue
10-15 Zip Ties
Drill with 1/8" drill bit
PVC Cutting Tool/Saw

You need to connect and glue the 2 long PVC sticks with the coupling. On one end glue on the PVC Hose Connector. From here, find the best place that is closest to the water hose so that you aren't connecting the hose in an awkward area. You will zip tie the hose connector and PVC pipe to the trampoline at that spot. Then move around about 4 ft and put another zip tie there, and so on until you get to the end. Once you have gone around the whole tramp and secured it with zip ties you should be back to the hose connector. Cut the pipe and glue the end cap on here. Next, take the drill and drill holes slightly slanted to the center of the tramp every 2-3 feet. The closer the holes are the lower it will spray, the farther apart the hole the higher the water will spray. Make sure the glue is dry before you turn on the hose. Have fun and always supervise kids when they are jumping on a trampoline and are around water.

Happy Summer!!

Rosie and her Blessing Dress

A month or so ago, I made Rosie a blessing dress.
I finally got around to editing the pictures.  And I love them!  Although, I am partial.  :)

She is such a happy baby!  We love everything about her!

She is so dainty and precious.  Just like a porcelain doll...

And we have to add a pouting picture.  :)
Look at that little lip!

The dress fit her beautifully and I'm so glad!  The roses on the front of her dress and in her hair fit her name perfectly!  Our sweet little Rosie Grace!

Real Life- What to Plant??

We planted our garden a few weeks ago.  On the way to pick up the plants, I asked my children what they would like to plant...
My son (3 years old) replies, "COOKIES!"  Ohhh, if it were that easy!

Halloween Candy Surprise!

Look close! Do you notice something different about the Halloween Candy?
Someone gave my little Trick-or-Treaters Toothpaste! Ha, Ha!
We had a good laugh at that one!...
Great idea though.

Spray Paint- for good & for bad!

I have been working on quite a few projects with spray paint recently.  I LOVE spray paint.  It is cheap, easy and makes a huge difference!  I always put the spray way up on a shelf where my children can't get to (or so I thought)...  Then the incident happened- My son (2 years old) pushed a chair to that shelf, got the paint down and proceeded to spraying his little sister black.  Poor little thing!  She of course didn't mind at all at become one of his brothers projects.  They see mom spray paint stuff...
Moral of the Story- Make sure your kids can't get into that paint because it is REALLY hard to remove!

Now I better show you some stuff I have painted recently...
I got this little sign at a garage sale.  I thought it was pretty cool, but I hated the frame.  So... I painted it a maroon color.
The darker red sure brings out the red in the sign.  I like it a whole lot better now...
Next...
I got these iron candle stick things at Goodwill.  But I wanted them black...
Now, they match my house a whole lot better!

Out of the mouths of Babes

Mayley came up to me and gave me a hug. She then looked up at me and said, "Mom you smell good." I said, "Thanks, what do I smell like." Mayley, "Jesus."
