Square Foot Gardening

I don't know about everyone else, but I am SUPER excited for Spring and to plant a garden, have green grass and feel the warmth from the sun.  We had a girls weekend last week, and while I was gone my husband made me some big planter boxes for a Square Foot GardenThey are not done yet, but I decided to post some pictures in case any of you are interested in gardening.  Square Foot Gardening is a super easy and efficient garden.  It is also ideal to do, if you don't have much space!
Here are the beginnings of our Square Foot Garden...
My husband made two long planter boxes- a total of 80 square feet.
There will be more pictures to come as we progress with our garden!  I am SUPER excited!

Don't forget to vote on Picket Fence!

I love your window decor on the fence! :) Really cute idea! How do you protect it from the sun and weather or do you even need to?
Can't wait to see your garden bloom and grow.. good luck!

Wow 80 square feet is a TON! I just built my square feet garden last weekend as well but mine is 4x4, so just 16 square feet. What all are you going to plant?

I'm so glad you shared this! I've been trying to think of a way to do a small raised garden... this may be just the design we're looking for. It will be my first garden with my family and I"m still quite intimated by the whole idea, but also excited.

That is a lot of space, lol. Funny how when you lay it out and measure it gets so big! I also love your fence decor, and can't wait to see the 'fruits' of your labor. We just got our tomato plants in the ground yesterday. Have a wonderful weekend! Visiting from Creation Corner.

Ooh, I love to garden! We don't have much space either, so we have a long skinny garden along the fence too. Thanks for sharing at Shine on Fridays!

We don't have a big back yard but I put in a planter just like this so we could have some fresh garden veggies too.
