Don't forget to enter our GIVEAWAY for Rose Valentine Earrings! They are super cute!
I wanted a simple, but inexpensive, Valentine center piece for my living room. I've seen different rosette balls done with crepe paper and other fun types of paper. Here are a few of the rosette balls that my boys helped me make.
I decided to use tissue paper. First cut them into strips about 3 inches wide. I only had white tissue paper, so we whipped out my stamp pads and added some color. Nothing fancy, just a few fingerprints. You won't see the fingerprints once you make the rosettes.
To make the rosettes, I tied a loose knot at one end. Then twist and turn. Hot glue the bottom of the rosette once it is formed.
So fun and easy to do. Now I need to make a few more to fill my basket...
I added a ribbon around the plain white one because the more I looked at it, the more it looked like a ball of toilet paper. Not cute! So once the ribbon was added, it looked like a cute rosette ball...with a ribbon. Go figure! :)
Don't forget to vote for us DAILY! It only takes one click...
These look awesome, and you are so right you cannot tell they are finger prints (my kids would love this part). I cannot wait to try this tonight, I snagged some vday tissue paper at dollar store today- Ahhmazing!
