Christmas Pajamas

I totally forgot to post my children's Christmas Pajamas last month...  So instead of waiting any longer I just decided to go ahead and post them.
I was really proud of myself, because I did not have a pattern for these.  I just used my children's pajamas that they already wear as a pattern and it worked really well.
I added some ruffles to my daughters top.  She absolutely loved it!
My son was so excited for his Pajamas, he still wants to wear them every night.
Lately my son has been insisting on wearing his hat to bed.  If I do not put it on him when he goes to bed, he will wake up crying for it.  He is also majorly attached to his bear that he calls "B".  I have had to sew on this bears head, repair its nose and do many other procedures on it to keep it alive.
Does anyone else have a child like this??

  5. My daughter had a "Zoe" from Sesame Street that she LOVED and loved so much it was worn down to bare! No fur in certain spots! She ended up with three of them because people would find and buy and give her one b/c the one she had was so sad. One even had it's eyes worn down and cracked in half. The arms were always hanging by strings and I sewed them on a so many times! She sucked her thumb only with it. The only way to break her of it by the time she started kindergarten was to build shadow box for all three of them to live (on doll stands) and they stsy there safe. She is now 13 and still has the shadow box in her room and great memories!

  13. Love the girly pajamas- thats a good idea to make it more of a play/pajama outfit for those days that the kiddos just want to stay in pj's all day. Thanks for linking to Things I've Done Thursday.

  23. So cute about the bear!! I have 3 little ones (5,4, almost 3) & they all have an animal that they are unable to sleep without! So when we travel we have to make sure that we have pig (that looks like a dog), dog (that looks like an old dish rag...my son is rougher on his toys than my girls are), and bunny (was white, now a dull gray). So I totally understand about the "lovies". New to your blog, found you on NOTJUSTAHOUSEWIFE linky
